Through our investment platform, CGI is able to control the full spectrum of the investment process – from proprietary origination, both operational and financial due diligence, competitive debt sourcing and structuring, to intensive management of its portfolio assets.

CGI currently targets both development as well as value-add assets in Atlanta, Georgia and South Carolina ranging from commercial to multifamily apartments. Our strategy is to build a portfolio of Commercial/Industrial, Single Family Homes and Mid-market Multifamily assets in select locations, adopting a strict value approach to sub-market and asset selection, and utilizing a top-down market analysis to target geographic areas benefiting from attractive long term macro trends and market growth.

CGI together with its partners have followed the highly disciplined strategy with multi-family acquisitions to-date comprising over 1500 apartment units and over $100 MM of asset value.

Through CGI's platform and active management, we believe our investments offer excellent risk-adjusted returns, especially for Asian-based investors looking to invest in overseas markets for both absolute return and risk diversification purposes. In this regard, CGI has partnered with various family offices and high net-worth individuals in these investments.

There is no alternative to buying at the right price! All our properties will usually be bought below retail value allowing for an instant equity capture. Also, it must have an above average cap rate and be cash flowing.
A good asset can only be made great with a strong repositioning master-plan. This requires a keen eye and expertise in identifying the high payoff initiatives which translate to meaningful enhancements that benefit our tenants.
Cashflow is the bloodline of any investment. Our objective is to implement aggressive asset management, renovation, repositioning and disposition of “value-add” apartment assets to achieve steady and consistent cashflow.
